The goal of the Internationalization for Training and Research Excellence Project is to support the internationalization of the Doctoral School at the Pedagogical University of Krakow. We consider internationalization to be one of the key areas of activity that contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality of training and research at the Doctoral School.

The most important part of the project are fully-funded internship stays for Doctoral School students. Other activities are oriented towards the so-called internationalization “at home” and acquisition of doctoral candidates from abroad.

The 3- or 5-month internships are expected to deepen the knowledge and improve the skills related to research or artistic activity in renowned foreign academic or artistic institutions. The grant applications are processed on a competitive basis.

Internationalization “at home” activities include inviting visiting professors as well as acquisition of foreign supervisors and instructors for the Doctoral School students.

In order to attract new doctoral candidates from abroad, we work on brand building and promotion, prepare information materials and adjust our infrastructure (including the electronic recruitment system).
